The last two songs are more melodic and are in my opinion, aren't as good as their other songs, but don't let that affect you (you may even like them!)Pennywise(badass bass)(This is with Zoli Teglas singing, because singer Jim Lindberg left the band in 2009, however he came back in 2012, so this is the only Pennywise album with a singer who isn't Jim)NOFX (Fat Mike of NoFX was the one to sign Rise Against to Fat Wreck Chords for their first two albums. Think of them as a song like Everchanging and Like the Angel.The AOL session by Bad Religion. Not to mention that they're the biggest influence on Rise Against.Bad Religion (I'll keep on adding to this list, so keep coming back and it'll be longer, plus I'll add more bands like NOFX, Pennywise, Strike Anywhere, Against Me!, Alkaline Trio etc.)and have really badass guitar solo intros and break downs etc.(sick bass)and are nice slower songs like Sorrow. Before then punk was dying, and Bad Religion incorporated melody with hardcore punk thus reviving punk rock. ![]() If you hear a band like Rise Against, it's all because of Bad Religion's revival of modern punk with 1988's Suffer. ![]() Also: Bad Religion, Pennywise, NOFX, Strike Anywhere.any other Punk band pretty muchBad Religion started in 1979 and are considered the fathers of modern punk.
